Forming Minds, Hearts, and Souls

Stella Maris Classical Academy, under the mantle of our Blessed Mother, nurtures the minds and souls of students through a classical education rooted in Catholic tradition. Each student, in joyful partnership with families, is guided to grow in virtue, wisdom and love of Jesus, and to come to know and embrace a unique role in God’s divine plan.

Students learn to seek truth through faith, reason, careful study, and thoughtful conversation.

Students are formed in virtue, learning to choose what is good and serve others with charity.

Students encounter beauty through literature, art, music, nature, and the sacred traditions of the Church.

“Stella Maris” is one of the most ancient titles of the Blessed Virgin Mary. As the star guides sailors through dark waters, Mary guides the faithful to her Son. Our academy bears her name because we believe education is a voyage, and every student needs a guiding star.

In Venice, a city by the sea, this name carries special meaning. Our students are formed under the patronage of the one who said “yes” to the highest calling, and we invite each student to discover their own.
